Following are some important tips concerning costumer's responsibilities for planning and purchasing a new quality built structure from Mountain Barn Builders LLC. Please read and feel free to ask questions and talk about your needs. We will be glad to help you with your planning and purchasing.
Local: All zoning concerns and/or local permits and/or subdivision restrictions are the responsibility of the customer. Rules, restrictions and regulations vary from one location to another; we will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have; we are not able to give any permits so actually getting permits and knowing and complying with your local laws are customer's responsibility. |

Site Prep: The preparation of the site is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new structure. Whenever possible the site should be flat, level and well drained. Mountain Barn Builders LLC can assist you with a site contractor to prepare your site. We recommend that most structures be put on a gravel pad for drainage and stability. On larger structures used for shops, offices, beauty salons, stores and dwellings where door and floor alignment are important, concrete strip footings are recommended. Footings need to be level with surface to be able to drive trailer over them. Most small structures are placed on flat concrete blocks on dirt and leveled with wood shims. Slight settling may occur with this method. If doors quit working please feel free to give us a call and we can assist you in adjusting the shims under the structure.

Delivery: We use a flatbed 1 ton pickup with a rollback trailer to deliver your new structure. It is important that we can physically get to the location that you desire for your structure. We need to be able to maneuver the truck/trailer and have clearance from overhead branches and wires, ect. Steep slopes, uneven ground, wet slippery surfaces and tight clearance at the site often cause complications. Please take note of these factors and bring them to our attention so we may assist you in preparing your site or wait for drier weather. Mountain Barn Builders LLC are proud of their products, employees and delivery persons. They have been professionally trained to assist you in your needs and are able to carefully get your new structure where you need it. Mountain Barn Builders, LLC and/ or its delivery person are not responsible for site conditions and/or damage done to new structure, property, lawns, trees, branches and any property belonging to you or neighbors We recommend discussing the particulars of your delivery with us so that these problems can be minimized or even eliminated. Thank you. Your understanding will help us provide better service to all our customers.
