2022 Ministry Round Up
Wow! What a year it has been! We are so blessed to have been given another year to serve on this beautiful Earth. We have seen many ups and downs with market fluctuations, employees moving, and ministry initiatives. As the late President John F. Kennedy said "Change is the law of life, and those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” We are so excited to see what God has in store for our community and our business! Though looking to the future is great and necessary, you must also learn to reflect on life, review mistakes, and be grateful for the blessings given to you! At the beginning of this year, we launched the "MBB Ministry Match”. Rather than all ministry efforts being driven from the top down, our teams were invited to decide what they wanted to focus on. We saw a HUGE return from this as employees and the community rallied around an employee's family during a critical health crisis. We also partnered with Plateau Pregnancy Services in Crossville, TN to support families in crisis pregnancy situations and offer Break the Cycle classes to our employees and the community! These classes provided the basic tools and training to navigate the emotional and spiritual storms, in which many of us aren’t prepared to face! As well as contributing to local causes, Mountain Barn Builders, LLC also went overseas and assisted in the building of a church in Githunguri, Kenya! During this trip, we helped finish the construction of a church, while coaching locals on tips and tricks that work on both sides of the globe. The school children had a blast watching the project develop and eating the candy that we brought for them. God gave us a miracle on this mission! In less than 10 days, our team went from a few walls to worshiping Him under a roof with the community! This is only the beginning of how God is going to use Mountain Barn Builders and the local TN community to impact the world, both in our backyard and across the globe! We are so excited to see what He has us do next! As Helen Keller said, "Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much!” We kindly ask that as you go forward in your journey, don’t neglect to pitch in and help where you can. There is so much need in this world and only so few people who are blessed and able to help! As owners, we believe that God has given us this business as an opportunity to spread His gracious love wherever He sends us, whenever He calls us, and to everyone He loves! Ephesians 4:16 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
