How Rent to Rent Works
Rent to Rent is a straightforward month-to-month rental agreement. We deliver a building to your property and you pay a monthly rental rate. When you no longer need it, simply let us know and we will schedule a pickup. There is no path to ownership with Rent to Rent — it is purely a temporary solution designed for flexibility.

Choose a Building & Sign Your Agreement
We will help you pick the right building size for your needs (up to 12x28). Review and sign your rental agreement, and pay your deposit to get started. Delivery and pickup fees apply and will be outlined in your agreement.

We Deliver the Building
We deliver and set up the building at your property. From there, it is yours to use for as long as you need it.

Pay Monthly
Your monthly rental payment keeps the building on your property. Stay current with your payments and the building stays.

Return When You're Done
When you no longer need the building, notify the office. We will schedule a pickup time. The building must be accessible, cleared out, and in satisfactory condition. Once picked up, your agreement ends.
Size Availability
Rent to Rent buildings are available in sizes up to 12x28. This covers most common temporary storage needs, from home renovation projects to seasonal overflow and more. If you need a larger structure, a Rent to Own agreement may be the better fit — ask the office.
Maximum size: 12 feet wide by 28 feet long. Buildings larger than 12x28 are not available under the Rent to Rent program. Contact your local dealer to discuss the right option for your situation.

Scheduling a Pickup
Returning a Rent to Rent building is easy. When you are ready to be done with the building, follow these steps:

Contact Us
Let your local Mountain Barn Builders sales associate know you are ready to return the building. Give as much advance notice as possible so we can schedule efficiently.

Clear Out the Building
Remove all of your belongings from the building before the scheduled pickup date. The building needs to be empty and accessible for our crew.

Ensure Access for the Truck
Our delivery truck needs clear access to the building. Make sure the driveway and approach are clear of vehicles, fencing, or other obstacles on the day of pickup.

We Handle the Rest
Our team picks up the building and your rental agreement ends. No further payments are due after the pickup date.
