LP Smart Siding: 8-year warranty on painted buildings. If properly maintained per manufacturer specs (kept dry and painted), LP Smart Siding carries a 50-year limited warranty. We don't just use it — we trust it.
Paint: Two coats of high-quality semi-gloss applied over primed LP Smart Siding. Backed by a 20-year limited warranty.
Framing Lumber: Standard and premium buildings use #1 grade lumber for best appearance. Value and Econo models use #2 grade. All floor joists are pressure treated to protect against termites and moisture.
Standard Flooring: 5/8” subfloor on 2×6 floor joists spaced 16” apart — built solid from the ground up.
Log & Lap Siding: Kiln-dried white pine, sealed with a Sherwin-Williams DeckScape two-coat process — a quick base coat followed by a UV-protective finish coat that shields against sun damage, the harshest enemy of any outdoor wood structure.

What’s Covered
Covered
- Damage caused by an approved installer (without a signed waiver)
- Workmanship defects — leaking roof, windows, or doors due to improper installation
- Level installation within reason
- All applicable manufacturer warranties
Not Covered
- Damage caused by animals
- Acts of nature (storms, flooding, etc.)
- Neglect, abuse, or theft
- Work performed by non-approved contractors
- Relocation by non-approved installers
- Alterations that void the warranty
In the event of a warranty claim, the buyer’s recourse is repair or replacement at the Seller’s discretion. Total repair cost cannot exceed the prorated value of the structure at the time of repair. The Seller arranges all covered repairs.
Carports & Garages
Our steel carports and garages are built tough and backed by tiered manufacturer warranties that reflect the grade of material used in your structure.
Maintenance note: All carport and garage warranties assume normal care using mild soap and water. Harsh chemicals and metal shavings (from cutting or drilling) are not covered. Warranties are limited and non-transferable.
